Two weeks have passed since Scientifica 2026, and we’ve had some time to look back on an exciting weekend filled with science, curiosity and inspiring conversations.
From 28–30 August, Scientifica brought research, innovation and science to life across Zurich. We were happy to be part of it and to introduce visitors to AUGMEDI and our approach to interactive medical learning.
At our stand at Scientifica 2026, visitors had the opportunity to explore the AUGMEDI platform and experience anatomy through interactive 3D models.
Rather than simply viewing anatomical structures, users can explore the human body layer by layer, rotate models and see how different structures relate to one another. Beyond anatomy, AUGMEDI also supports medical education across the learning journey – from interactive surgical approaches and structured courses to quizzes, question banks and exam preparation. It was great to see visitors getting hands-on with the platform and asking questions about how technology could change the way we learn medicine.
One of the highlights of the weekend was our Body Builder AR game, which invited younger visitors to build a virtual skeleton and explore the human body through play. 🦴
Seeing how naturally children engaged with anatomy was a great reminder that curiosity is often the starting point for learning – and that technology can make even complex scientific topics approachable and fun.
For us, Scientifica was more than an opportunity to showcase our platform. It was also a chance to exchange ideas with people from different backgrounds and hear what interests them about the human body, medicine and new technologies.
At AUGMEDI, we are constantly exploring how interactive 3D, photorealistic anatomy and digital learning tools can support medical students and young doctors throughout their education.
Being able to share these ideas with a broader audience – from curious kids to students, researchers and professionals – made the experience particularly rewarding.

We would also like to thank our collaborators at OR-X, Balgrist University Hospital and IMMERSE for making the exhibition such a great experience together.
We’re taking away plenty of great conversations, new perspectives and, most importantly, a renewed appreciation for the curiosity that drives learning and discovery.
